How are my exam scores tabulated?
The grading rubric is based on the only released document that outlines raw score conversion to a standard score for each section. That is, the number of questions received correct is converted to a scaled score. Because this is the only document to our disposal that reveals the scoring scale to date, we were obliged to use this rubric to calculate your score per section. We do our best to provide you with an accurate analysis of your performance based upon what we were given and we hope it will prove invaluable in your preparation to conquer the exam. Generally, students have found our practice exams to be more challenging and tend to score roughly 8-13 points higher on the actual exam. Therefore, do not get discouraged with the scores you receive on Crack the NBDE, but use it as a tool to help you assess your time management, strengths and weaknesses as well as aiding you in navigating around the testing module. If the exam report says you passed our mock exam, it should give you a signal of confidence that you will pass the actual NBDE too. Our software will also enable you to compare how you performed on each test relative to other students across the world.
